The Computer
center is the heart of the any technical institute. Therefore, it has to be
equipped with the best and the latest technology available in the market. AIM
has an excellent infrastructure for imparting software and hardware skills to
the students using latest software tools and technologies. The institute
has the following hardware and software configuration in the computer labs:
IBM AS/400
eServer V4R4 (Mainframe), Windows 2000, Windows NT, Unix and Linux Servers (
using IBM xSeries) The present
network has more than 100 workstations
out of
which 60 computers are IBM A/20 Netvista (PIII Processor 866 Mhz) Other than the above
configuration, the computing center has a hardware lab for Practicals of logic
gate, header, counter, register and other logic circuits. The Softwares: The computer
center procures all licensed software required for conducting Post Graduate and
Graduate courses. The laboratory offers
diversified range of software packages for the purpose of the academics,
research and development in the area of programming, language compilers,
database systems, word processing, accounting, graphics etc. Every effort is
made to keep pace with the Silicon Valley. The Licensed softwares available in
